Let the River Flow

What if all your dreams really weren’t dreams at all, but you were visiting yourself in the past. What if you had gone to a place that no longer existed and to a time that no longer was. What would you expect to see? Would you relive the past? Would you hold onto it, a memory forever in its place, but not lost. Would you let it point you in a new direction? Would you pick it up and take it with you, wherever that may be. What if each dream was like a pebble? What if each moment in your life was like a pebble, shifting as the water passed by. And as life moves on, the pebbles tumble, collide and are smoothed around the edges, forever changing what you knew of them. Would you take a pebble with you, or would you let the river flow?
